hey guys im a metamodernist. I don't believe in objective truth. there are many different kinds of truth, but there not all created equal. the reason why is simple. truth is a word, a human construct that is based one's theory and criteria. I'm a pragmatist. I also believe that objective cannot be obtained. that's because our perception of the world is the creation of our brains. thus, no single individual is objective or can be. thus, individualism as epistemological and skeptical standpoint is unfounded and unsound. to get around this, we have to collectivise our understanding via testable predictions (science) with in relation to a goal, that being trying understand reality for what it is, not what we think it is. that's the closest thing that we can get to objective reality and truth in my view.
