by far my favourite fight in any game

it had shitty level design

the rest is fine

you drop into a giant fucking hellish arena, fight some burned knights, then have a cool fight with the boss

what did, the dlc or game as a whole?

i still got start the dlc in 2 ill get around to it one day

I found, other than it having pretty forced progression near the end, it had quite nice area designs

lots of optional areas and secrets

but ds1's world is still by far the best

mainly because of how interconnected it was, and beyond the lord soul areas you could pretty much go anywhere when you wanted, so long as you were good enough
