Citizen, what are your thoughts on the nature of the moon?

I’ve seen different people say different things

Seems to be a large sphere but we only see mostly one side

But a large sphere wouldn’t match up with flat earth

Imagine drawing a moon on your ceiling.

Then imagine looking at the drawing from different points in the room

It would look squashed if I stood far away from it

But the moon is always a sphere

Well its technically the shape of a round shield or dinner plate turned upside down

We assume its a sphere

It would have to be a sphere

In order to be viewed as circular from all angles

I guess it depends. Technically only certain places can see it at once

We live on a flat plain

Not the whole earth

But all of those places see a round moon

What does that even mean

If the moon were a flat disc, some people would see it as a squashed oval

They see a round moon at different times.

The moon is a transparent luminary and isn't round at all.

I dont think it works like that

still doesn't mean were you live is round just because it is one dimension in visual
