Eh?
Do they?
Imagine drawing a moon on your ceiling.
Then imagine looking at the drawing from different points in the room
It would look squashed if I stood far away from it
Like an oval
But the moon is always a sphere
or a circle
Well its technically the shape of a round shield or dinner plate turned upside down
We assume its a sphere
It would have to be a sphere
Why
In order to be viewed as circular from all angles
Wouldn’t it?
Umm
I guess it depends. Technically only certain places can see it at once
Yes
We live on a flat plain
Not the whole earth
But all of those places see a round moon
What does that even mean
They see a round moon at different times.
The people looking at it from the Side
No...
The moon is a transparent luminary and isn't round at all.
I dont think it works like that
It looks pretty round to me
nope not at all
It’s literally a circle?
I’m confused here
still doesn't mean were you live is round just because it is one dimension in visual
never been to the moon but both feet firmly planted on this plain
So is the moon a flat disc?
The moon is a luminary body on an elliptical within our atmosphere. It can not tell you that you live on a spinning spherical object with water strapped to the outside of it by a selective never proven theory called grabbity.
So...
Why does everyone see the same side of the moon
If it were close to the ground and above a flat plain, people would see different sides of it
Right?
because of a little lie they call a phenomena because it breaks all the rules called tidal looking which is a lie.
...
How can a sphere look the same from all angles
