Here's the thing about gravity as a theory, it is highly consistent with what the common person an observe in day to day life. But just cause it's consistent within our observation, doesn't mean it is the true explanation. If that makes sense. so here is my simple motto that oddly makes many people furious when i share it:

2019-12-14 04:49:50 UTC

perception is dependent on reality, but reality is not dependent on perception

2019-12-14 04:50:05 UTC

Ok

2019-12-14 04:50:15 UTC

so basically, if something is true, it doesnt matter if we are aware of it, or how we feel

2019-12-14 04:50:24 UTC

Ok

2019-12-14 04:50:27 UTC

our goal is to have our perception in line with reality

2019-12-14 04:50:40 UTC

with the senses we have

2019-12-14 04:51:41 UTC

if i didnt have such a long history of becoming disillusioned with mainstream narratives i would probably never question gravity however

2019-12-14 04:51:49 UTC

which is why i dont judge people for their conclusions

2019-12-14 04:52:02 UTC

because we might not have the same knowledge

2019-12-14 04:52:29 UTC

there seems to be a downward vector is all i can say

2019-12-14 04:52:33 UTC

what the cause is? not sure

2019-12-14 04:52:55 UTC

but in the heliocentric model "downward force" is not an accurate description

2019-12-14 04:53:01 UTC

since its all relative in space

2019-12-14 04:53:15 UTC

Earthwards*

2019-12-14 04:53:23 UTC

If it makes you feel better

2019-12-14 04:53:27 UTC

pretty much their definition yeah

2019-12-14 04:53:31 UTC

lol

2019-12-14 04:55:04 UTC

The problem with your argument is that it is irrefutable; you made an argument of 'I don't know and can't.'

2019-12-14 04:55:33 UTC

Science doesnt prove anything

2019-12-14 04:55:41 UTC

It only provides evidence

2019-12-14 04:56:10 UTC

Sometimes, it is pretty strong

2019-12-14 04:56:24 UTC

because that's the reality of our dilemma. when it comes to clear cut evidence regarding any theory of this downward force, we're at a stalemate. a stalemate that is deeply reliant on the shape of this landmass

2019-12-14 04:57:27 UTC

i consider flat earth to be a major bonus in the "woke" department. but it isnt essential to find other big truths. i got here after a long journey

2019-12-14 04:58:16 UTC

My question is that what scientific holes can a flat earth fill that a round one can't?

2019-12-14 04:58:30 UTC

Iā€™d rather go to space myself so say the earth is anything but globe

2019-12-14 04:59:09 UTC

thats my point. the reason why the globe model is standing strong, is cause it is incredibly consistent with what we observe in every day life, especially if you have no suspicions

2019-12-14 04:59:15 UTC

however

2019-12-14 04:59:46 UTC

there are some things like a lack of curvature, that we flat earthers bring to attention with varied enthusiasm hah

2019-12-14 05:00:49 UTC

i think you would largely benefit from researching on your own

2019-12-14 05:01:02 UTC

The problem is I have

2019-12-14 05:01:47 UTC

And I have a sinking feeling it is more than 95% of this server

2019-12-14 05:03:14 UTC

go ahead and say it. everyone may or may not be eagerly watching šŸ‘€

2019-12-14 05:03:16 UTC

lol

2019-12-14 05:03:47 UTC

Say what?

2019-12-14 05:03:59 UTC

I feel confident in what I know?

2019-12-14 05:04:25 UTC

That the numbers add up on one side and don't on the other?

2019-12-14 05:05:29 UTC

ahh, i'm a bit lost now. i thought you were going to make a statement about those who are on this server, which i probably shouldnt have hyped up

2019-12-14 05:06:03 UTC

I mean everyone, flatheads and globetards alike

2019-12-14 05:06:26 UTC

Im a geophysics major, man

2019-12-14 05:06:28 UTC

I am a metal head
