Yea, earthshine normally is really dim, however, The slight earth-shine with the half of the moon that would be illuminated by the sun, it could make that shine effect on the camra
The moon(at least where i live) never looks that bright, it is always dimmer in the day
So im assuming most of that is how the cam took the picture
In cosmology, yeah, you can be off by many, many factors because in the scheme of cosmology it doesn't change much.
