I cannot speak for all but I will speak for myself. Because flat earth is a loose term. real science unlike pseudoscience is testable, measurable, repeatable and observable. A globe earth cannot be practically demonstrated. A practical demonstration is foremost. Without it you are dealing with guess work and a belief system @yue jo

What the hell?!?! “Science does not have to be observable” that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. Step 1 of the SCIENTIFIC method is to: OBSERVE a natural phenomena and ask a question based upon this OBSERVATION
