how do we know the earth is a planet? How do we know how far the sun and stars are?

Well we all assume that because it’s what the basic education system teaches us

What historically did people believe in and why?

But didn’t they think it was flat before that?

What indicates that the Earth is a simulation to you?

Everyone saw the earth as flat in all human history until the Greeks. Not even all Greeks thought it was round either. Neither do I.

Well theres no proof of what they thought actually, there is no recording of most of those civilization's beliefs on that matter
