why would they need to be bouncing off anything

2020-02-09 02:45:15 UTC

why does it need to bounce in the first place if the lightning is what creates the sound

2020-02-09 02:45:36 UTC

Every time we make an echo, it’s because noise we make bounces off a solid surface.

2020-02-09 02:45:46 UTC

the sound that thunder creates just travels as far as it can go and the vibrations (the sound) die out sooner or later

2020-02-09 02:46:08 UTC

i dont know what about that you dont get

2020-02-09 02:46:53 UTC

i really don't know what the problem is

2020-02-09 02:47:07 UTC

does thunder have to echo to be heard?

2020-02-09 02:47:14 UTC

what do you want from us

2020-02-09 02:47:33 UTC

maybe we should find out what you are inferring derek

2020-02-09 02:47:58 UTC

if thunder NEEDS to bounce off something in your eyes to make an echo what is it bouncing off of do you think

2020-02-09 02:48:00 UTC

When we are in a cave and shout, we hear an echo.

2020-02-09 02:48:07 UTC

ok

2020-02-09 02:48:07 UTC

ok?

2020-02-09 02:48:15 UTC

A cave is a physical medium.

2020-02-09 02:48:31 UTC

So when thunder echoes, what is its physical medium?

2020-02-09 02:48:41 UTC

air is the medium in which sound travels through

2020-02-09 02:49:17 UTC

I’m not asking for what the thunder is traveling through, I’m asking what medium is causing thunder’s sound to bounce.

2020-02-09 02:49:31 UTC

i don't know what that's supposed to mean

2020-02-09 02:49:32 UTC

Hmmm

2020-02-09 02:49:47 UTC

do you not know how sound works

2020-02-09 02:49:49 UTC

how is Derek here

2020-02-09 02:50:07 UTC

I’m alright. Just trying to pull proverbial teeth.

2020-02-09 02:52:03 UTC

I’m trying to tie my argument together with the fact everyone treats our environment like a closed system. Problem is, that only works when there’s a physical container to keep it closed. Mainstream science wants the benefit of a closed and open system simultaneously without a physical barrier, when that scenario doesn’t exist in any experiment we can verify.

2020-02-09 02:52:35 UTC

but

2020-02-09 02:52:36 UTC

like

2020-02-09 02:52:44 UTC

wait

2020-02-09 02:52:57 UTC

what are you saying then

2020-02-09 02:53:12 UTC

that because thunder travels that the earth is covered or something

2020-02-09 02:53:15 UTC

or enclosed

2020-02-09 02:53:27 UTC

??

2020-02-09 02:53:39 UTC

is sound really this hard or something

2020-02-09 02:54:12 UTC

Sounds like it

2020-02-09 02:54:18 UTC

What other scenario can we produce an echo, without something for the sound to bounce off?

2020-02-09 02:54:18 UTC

Heh

2020-02-09 02:54:51 UTC

Keep it simple.

2020-02-09 02:54:58 UTC

i'm completely lost

2020-02-09 02:54:58 UTC

I don’t know of any.

2020-02-09 02:54:58 UTC

Vaccum

2020-02-09 02:55:04 UTC

like

2020-02-09 02:55:19 UTC

A vacuum? .. Uh, no.
