do you not know how sound works

2020-02-09 02:49:49 UTC

how is Derek here

2020-02-09 02:50:07 UTC

I’m alright. Just trying to pull proverbial teeth.

2020-02-09 02:52:03 UTC

I’m trying to tie my argument together with the fact everyone treats our environment like a closed system. Problem is, that only works when there’s a physical container to keep it closed. Mainstream science wants the benefit of a closed and open system simultaneously without a physical barrier, when that scenario doesn’t exist in any experiment we can verify.

2020-02-09 02:52:35 UTC

but

2020-02-09 02:52:36 UTC

like

2020-02-09 02:52:44 UTC

wait

2020-02-09 02:52:57 UTC

what are you saying then

2020-02-09 02:53:12 UTC

that because thunder travels that the earth is covered or something

2020-02-09 02:53:15 UTC

or enclosed

2020-02-09 02:53:27 UTC

??

2020-02-09 02:53:39 UTC

is sound really this hard or something

2020-02-09 02:54:12 UTC

Sounds like it

2020-02-09 02:54:18 UTC

What other scenario can we produce an echo, without something for the sound to bounce off?

2020-02-09 02:54:18 UTC

Heh

2020-02-09 02:54:51 UTC

Keep it simple.

2020-02-09 02:54:58 UTC

i'm completely lost

2020-02-09 02:54:58 UTC

I don’t know of any.

2020-02-09 02:54:58 UTC

Vaccum

2020-02-09 02:55:04 UTC

like

2020-02-09 02:55:19 UTC

A vacuum? .. Uh, no.

2020-02-09 02:55:27 UTC

b u t t h a t s n o t w h a t t h u n d e r is d o i n g

2020-02-09 02:55:28 UTC

why do we need to worry about echoes if all we are talking about is sound

2020-02-09 02:55:37 UTC

and the sound that thunder is

2020-02-09 02:55:45 UTC

um are you saying thunder doesnt bounce off of stuff?

2020-02-09 02:55:59 UTC

the sound bounces off of buildings and other objects

2020-02-09 02:56:06 UTC

he's saying that thunder needs to bounce off something for us to hear it or something like that

2020-02-09 02:56:23 UTC

I don't think so

2020-02-09 02:56:36 UTC

Maybe it bounces off the ground

2020-02-09 02:56:40 UTC

for some reason sound is really complicated

2020-02-09 02:56:42 UTC

well no, but thunders do produce somewhat of an echo because of the buildings they bounce off of

2020-02-09 02:56:53 UTC

and yes sometimes the ground too

2020-02-09 02:57:34 UTC

there doesn't need to be an echo for us to hear it because lightning is the source of the sound

2020-02-09 02:57:46 UTC

we just need to be in the path of the pressure

2020-02-09 02:58:16 UTC

well the lightning hitting something produces the thunder sound, and there just so happens to be an echo sometimes

2020-02-09 02:58:36 UTC

yes

2020-02-09 06:40:39 UTC

im new to being a flat earther can we trust google maps?

2020-02-09 06:49:39 UTC

Most road maps are functional to my knowledge.

2020-02-09 06:50:45 UTC

but they show a globe
