i live by the ocean, on a small island, i can see the mainland about 10 Km away, and the curvature is observable

i can literally walk for 5 mins and be swimming in the ocean

There's some really cool experiments that support relativity. My fav is the Hafele–Keating experiment, which demonstrated gravitational time dilation and has been successfully recreated numerous times.
