Smoke isn't really a gas. It's an amalgam of solids, gases and liquids.
yea true
its opacity is largely cuz it has a lot of solid particles in it
this is pretty far off topic tho
haha true
Hi
helo
@Σ5 im back, higher air density does imply higher humidity which will cause things to be less transparent also stop going to other gasses that doesn't function the same as air. fog has a higher air density and higher humidity, there's a relationship between those when air density increase temperature also increases which inturn makes things less visible so yes you can say that a higher air density causes things to be less visible
Paypal => Elon Musk + Peter Thiel
Peter Thiel => then founds Palantyr (spying company for CIA/NSA)
Peter Thiel was also the first external investor into Facebook
The stuff I said the last time I was drunk 😩
flowers
hryvnya
Lemberg
Dude, stop posting non-fe stuff in here, please.
Thanks.
Higher humidity dosnt mean less transparent
@He Cute high humidity air is less dense than try air at the same temperature
unless it becomes a fog
then it is more dense
but fog isn't a gas but a coloid
a suspension of water droplets
Apply the ideal gas law to nitrogen and water
Does air actually limit how far you see
humid air is less dense than dry air
hey even scale the molar dencity by the nitrogen percent and it still ends up being less dense
If not and earths flat I should surely (without any buildings or etc blocking my sight ) be able to see Russia
i mean it does
At the same time if air does limit my sight I though can see the sun
Stars
Moon
the atmosphere is fairly flat
stuff that's directly above you has relatively little air blocking its path
whereas stuff close to the horizon has a lot
hence why the sky is lighter close to the horizon
Yeah but when the sun is about to set
I can still see it
