a sharp line
fog does increase the airs dencity but air dencity isnt what causes it to become less tranbsparent
in some cases where the fog is strong enough the horizon would look like its fading out
i think you mean humidity
not density
why does it look like a sharp line when there's not much fog?
also humid air is actually les dense than dry air
fog increases dencity because your actually getting droplets of water
its not a change of humidity
smoke is less dense than air because its hotter
but its also less transparent
people are fairly inactive in the chats in this server huh
higher dencity dosnt imply less transparent
Depends on the time of day
its disproven by the fact that there exists higher dencity gasses that are more transparent than less dense gasses
your point stands but smoke is actually a little denser than air at room temperature
it floats cuz when it gets created it's very hot
and since its a gas its density goes down
Smoke isn't really a gas. It's an amalgam of solids, gases and liquids.
yea true
its opacity is largely cuz it has a lot of solid particles in it
haha true
Hi
helo
@Σ5 im back, higher air density does imply higher humidity which will cause things to be less transparent also stop going to other gasses that doesn't function the same as air. fog has a higher air density and higher humidity, there's a relationship between those when air density increase temperature also increases which inturn makes things less visible so yes you can say that a higher air density causes things to be less visible

Higher humidity dosnt mean less transparent
