Why is that a question

2020-02-16 20:56:50 UTC

Also

2020-02-16 21:06:04 UTC

A common FE argument is that Polaris doesn't move, but in the globe earth model, it actually does very very slowly, so slowly that it's imperceptible over short timeframes. In 3000 BC, Thuban was the north star, and circa 320 BC, Pytheas said that the north celestial pole was devoid of stars. A complete cycle of the precession of the equinoxes takes over 25,000 years.

2020-02-16 21:07:22 UTC

@SiliconBassist Thats not right

2020-02-16 21:07:31 UTC

Polaris moves in a circle over one night, just like all the other stars

2020-02-16 21:07:37 UTC

it does

2020-02-16 21:07:42 UTC

You're right about teh precession though

2020-02-16 21:07:46 UTC

That's different

2020-02-16 21:08:04 UTC

OIc what you're saying

2020-02-16 21:08:09 UTC

There's also this :

2020-02-16 21:08:28 UTC

One star in particular is moving quickly enough to pick up in our lifetime

2020-02-16 21:09:35 UTC

What star is that?

2020-02-16 21:10:55 UTC

And yeah, i didn't mean the circular movement seen every night

2020-02-16 21:11:21 UTC

Although that circle is currently getting smaller as Polaris moves closer to the north celestial pole iirc

2020-02-16 21:19:09 UTC

Barnard's star

2020-02-16 21:19:25 UTC

Ah

2020-02-16 21:39:33 UTC

That gif shows literally *years* of orbital motion. A star trails timelapse is 7 hours long.

2020-02-16 21:49:12 UTC

Polaris moves. You finally got it right

2020-02-16 21:54:43 UTC

@SiliconBassist what the circular path of polaris is getting smaller?

2020-02-16 22:00:37 UTC

Yeah. From Earth's perspective, Polaris is slowly getting closer to the north celestial pole which causes the circular path in which it appears to follow to shrink.

2020-02-16 22:01:08 UTC

I need to fact check this though, but I'm busy with an essay atm

2020-02-16 22:06:55 UTC

i believe the earth is flat

2020-02-16 22:07:09 UTC

The flat earth theorem is quite impossible and laughably humiliating in the sense that for the earth to be an closed sphere the annual temperature would have to be included within the subdivision of the hypothetical isothermal metaphysical type B class stationary geological stone. I find ur lack of common knowledge on the subject pathetic and humorous that u could ever think a planet could be flatter than ur mom

2020-02-16 22:09:01 UTC

so to solve this basically, i reverted the existential vertebrate to the half uneaten rectangular rectum to extract the remaining peptonic isotope while managing to avoid the asmyptote

2020-02-16 22:09:44 UTC

ok

2020-02-16 22:10:33 UTC

The potential exuberant latency within the withering hypochondriac is quite felicitous Tim however ur part about peptonic isotopes could be changed to external string connectors under the flux compactors

2020-02-16 22:12:35 UTC

Flat earth is not a theory
It’s a measurement and a observation

2020-02-16 22:12:44 UTC

listen here you little shit, you cannot truly break down the supposed exuberant latency without damaging the “rectonus racion” as they call it in latin. therefore truly discovering the repulse of the peptonic asymptote can lead you to the reduction of longitudinal and latitudinal regimes

2020-02-16 22:12:54 UTC

See now that’s where you are wrong goyim

2020-02-16 22:13:03 UTC

And a planet means wandering star
The earth is not a wondering star

2020-02-16 22:13:17 UTC

Okay so where can I observe curvature and motion of the earth?

2020-02-16 22:14:28 UTC

No you’re observation of spite amongst the cervical hypotenuse cannot be reframed into contextual hempodermites

2020-02-16 22:15:37 UTC

And Tim that is factually accurate however damaging the rectonus racion is in process from hereditary bongoloites in the sub African desert

2020-02-16 22:16:39 UTC
2020-02-16 22:17:15 UTC

Our maximum cranial ability outmatches your puny knowledge

2020-02-16 22:17:27 UTC

the under african metropolis theory has not lasted the test of time, the fiction regoratory can not be used a measure of proof

2020-02-16 22:17:55 UTC

however i would like to call in the clavicular condition of the remaining legostars in hyperature

2020-02-16 22:18:00 UTC

That is true

2020-02-16 22:18:26 UTC

I’m going to have to call in my clavicular conditioning expert

2020-02-16 22:19:15 UTC

He said that without blasphemous ethos within the temperate capacity chambers the ion radiators can’t hydrate themselves
