Where does that come from? 👀
Never heard about that formula
What is the Radius of the glob model?
Around 6300km
thats where it comes from, its called geometry 😉
if R is that then all Horizons must be no more than 1.225 times the square root of observer height
one foot obseerver height put the horizon where>? Draw in crayon again, yellow this time, thanks 🙂
I'll do so I gtg now tho
ok
@Goldstation hi man
we
hi
a
Dimensional analysis tells me your formula is wrong
Or at least that 1.225 must have a unit
Ah yes, units.
They are a communist judeo-masonic conspiracy.
You heard it here first.
Ilks youre wrong
you offer nothing as a correction I see so move along
This is meaningless
I got to reading about Electronic polarization and wow
Tell me whats the formuli then?
distance square root of height
I think the exact formula is D = √ (2hR + h²)
So for a small height D ≈ √ (2hR)=√(2R) √h
The distance is proportionnal to the square root of the height but as i said the constant have a unit
so now answer the question, at one foot whats the distance of the physical geometric horizon supposed to be?
Idk it must be less than 6.21 miles as you ask
So if that is the case why do we see the horizon at ten miles plus at one foot height?
Because we dont see the geometrical horizon
we know, we been telling globers that for fives years an more 😄
So why is it at ten miles?
You know, refraction
which type?
Atmospheric refraction
well no, but okay
we'll go with that
so how can a non-physical horizon refract
