The same oil rig pic was taken during sunrise and sunset when the refraction is lowest
Aight imma watch it
do you guys have a compass at home? if you move it down a bit the arrow still point to the north but it heads up a bit and if you move it up the arrow moves down and still points at north. if the earth was round and your compass was level wouldn't it be pointing down all the time because of the earth curve?
youve all the evidence
stop being silly
Nikon should rename their next camera the GK1000

Trix, distorortioan is irrelevent, horizon isnt distorted is it 😉
@He Cute Not quite clear what your up and down directions are here.
@Flat Earth PhD If you look up how the blue marble is made you'll see that the cloud is added on. In fact you can download the cloud as a seperate file. It's not related to the satellite images.
nice try
You can literally look it up lol
why are they adding clouds?
Because the photos from the satellites don't include cloud by the looks.
As in the software was designed to image only clear ground.
😂
@Pit Droid if you hold the compass at a 45 degree angle, the arrow will move slightly up or down relatively to which side it's at a 45 degree and will be pointing at the north. how is this possible on a round earth? this can only work on a flat level earth where the north pole is on the same level of compass
they try so hard
but actually the trolling is increasing flat earther numbers
people are wondering why so much troll activity
of course not
I assume 45 to the north?
As in +/- 45 degrees
no, like like holding it 45 degrees vertically
Ah ok, with you
Same reason as for a flat earth, the magnetic field is (roughly) parallel with the surface
isn't the magnetic field of the round earth on the north pole, wouldn't the arrow always be pointing a bit down for the curvature of earth?
oh ok
My mum is a man
Take it to the lounge
With enough refraction you can easily see past the oil rig
Only a little bit would be hidden according to the graph
Which is exactly what happens in the photo and video
does that say 553 km? am I missing something?
Again, how much refraction there was in the video and photos is impossible to guess, in just saying that it would theoretically be possible
I cranked the refraction up to 0.99999 and that's what it gave me
but we're talking 10-20km range
