try this one

2020-03-05 18:00:29 UTC

The same oil rig pic was taken during sunrise and sunset when the refraction is lowest

2020-03-05 18:00:34 UTC

Aight imma watch it

2020-03-05 18:01:33 UTC

do you guys have a compass at home? if you move it down a bit the arrow still point to the north but it heads up a bit and if you move it up the arrow moves down and still points at north. if the earth was round and your compass was level wouldn't it be pointing down all the time because of the earth curve?

2020-03-05 18:01:42 UTC

youve all the evidence

2020-03-05 18:01:45 UTC

stop being silly

2020-03-05 18:02:15 UTC

Nikon should rename their next camera the GK1000

Globe Killer

Trix, distorortioan is irrelevent, horizon isnt distorted is it 😉

2020-03-05 18:05:16 UTC

@He Cute Not quite clear what your up and down directions are here.

2020-03-05 18:06:21 UTC

@Flat Earth PhD If you look up how the blue marble is made you'll see that the cloud is added on. In fact you can download the cloud as a seperate file. It's not related to the satellite images.

2020-03-05 18:06:39 UTC

nice try

2020-03-05 18:06:49 UTC

You can literally look it up lol

2020-03-05 18:07:13 UTC

why are they adding clouds?

2020-03-05 18:08:04 UTC

Because the photos from the satellites don't include cloud by the looks.

2020-03-05 18:08:41 UTC

As in the software was designed to image only clear ground.

2020-03-05 18:09:06 UTC

😂

2020-03-05 18:09:07 UTC

@Pit Droid if you hold the compass at a 45 degree angle, the arrow will move slightly up or down relatively to which side it's at a 45 degree and will be pointing at the north. how is this possible on a round earth? this can only work on a flat level earth where the north pole is on the same level of compass

2020-03-05 18:09:12 UTC

they try so hard

2020-03-05 18:09:25 UTC

but actually the trolling is increasing flat earther numbers

2020-03-05 18:09:41 UTC

people are wondering why so much troll activity

2020-03-05 18:09:47 UTC

Not a troll sadly

2020-03-05 18:09:53 UTC

of course not

2020-03-05 18:09:56 UTC

I assume 45 to the north?

2020-03-05 18:10:13 UTC

As in +/- 45 degrees

2020-03-05 18:10:29 UTC

no, like like holding it 45 degrees vertically

2020-03-05 18:11:07 UTC

Ah ok, with you

2020-03-05 18:11:41 UTC

Same reason as for a flat earth, the magnetic field is (roughly) parallel with the surface

2020-03-05 18:13:54 UTC

isn't the magnetic field of the round earth on the north pole, wouldn't the arrow always be pointing a bit down for the curvature of earth?

With enough refraction you can easily see past the oil rig

2020-03-05 18:17:13 UTC

Only a little bit would be hidden according to the graph

2020-03-05 18:17:22 UTC

Which is exactly what happens in the photo and video

2020-03-05 18:18:38 UTC

does that say 553 km? am I missing something?

2020-03-05 18:18:45 UTC

Again, how much refraction there was in the video and photos is impossible to guess, in just saying that it would theoretically be possible

2020-03-05 18:19:30 UTC

I cranked the refraction up to 0.99999 and that's what it gave me
