But where I was going with that was the germans had spent what dwindling resources they had developing this stupidly advanced-for-its-time jet fighter called Huckebein. The prototype was on the assembly line going through final prep when the Russians stormed in and stole everything.

A while later and a nearly identical fighter roles off the soviet factory floors

It as going through final prep and the russians did, but they couldn't get enough thrust later as their rugged designs seemed to be struggling the technology.
