And, that won't be disgusting or wrong, because you are just cattle to me
Ok
why is it disgusting to own another person
Again, you've yet to answer the question
why should i think its disgusting
It isn't, I'll own you someday, bgt
In an objective manner
i literally think it isnt
I changed my mind
I forgot I was speaking to cattle
So you openly admit that slavery is okay?
relativism in action
Yea, the enslavement of people who think enslavement is ok, is fine by me
And if you become enslaved?
I won't
You will
see?
You are so incompetent, it won't even take a net
I'll just put some hamburgers in the middle of a fenced in area
you literally cant give a straight answer why
why is slavery disgusting
Then watch you complain it doesnt have cheese 😄
@Yotta My point I'm trying to show you with this fiasco is that you cannot objectively claim that any moral is indeed moral
Because nothing "earthly" can be objectively true
Thus as a consequence there must be something objective in order for the universe to function
Thus, God
He left.

Does the Bible truly promote slavery?
@Eoppa answer it
Eoppa is our in-house Bishop
Promote would be the wrong word, it simply didn't condemn it. And slavery was a bit different than the modern type, it was more similar to employment or indentured servitude. It allowed you to sell your labor to pay off debt.
If you kidnapped someone to be a slave or such that's a sin
Thats interesting, does the Church Fathers have their take in it?
I'd have to take to Google for that, I believe Christ instructed slaves to obey their masters, and that's all I know that isn't in the Old Covenant.
```Fifth, while the Christian Empire didn't immediately outlaw slavery, some Church fathers (such as Gregory of Nyssa and John Chrysostom) strongly denounced it. But then, the state has often failed to enact a just social order in accordance with Church teachings.``` that's from the first result.
I've always took slavery to be something that optimally should be avoided but isn't intrinsically wrong.
I see, what about the different interpretations?
Can it be interpreted differently that the Bible does condemn slavery?
