I will concede that Jesuits were responsible for a number of scientific innovations, findings, and theories, and that was excellent. It was their ultimately, in my opinion, their peak performance. But now in contemporary times, Jesuits are just sticklers for the two ideologies and are on the same level as an Evangelical.

Post-1946 Jesuit orders seem to have gone this way.
