@Maksim Whether or not we have free will is irrelevant to God, as he knows all. And while we may be destined to fate, it is objective to act as if we do at all times so that we do not fall into acts of laziness, lust, or other afflictions.

2020-01-17 17:56:53 UTC

but its relevant to us.

2020-01-17 18:35:27 UTC

Ok

2020-01-17 18:35:34 UTC

And?

2020-01-17 18:35:48 UTC

It is irrelevant to a God

2020-01-17 18:39:11 UTC

says who @Deleted User

2020-01-17 18:39:12 UTC

u?

2020-01-17 18:39:19 UTC

you know what god thinks?

2020-01-17 19:09:47 UTC

No. None of us do. But do our lives, whether fateful or by will, truly effect how a God would function?

2020-01-17 19:09:51 UTC

I think not

2020-01-17 19:54:56 UTC

Man is made in the image of God which means he has Will. But is still restricted by God's realm and his higher will

I've heard Calvinists believe heaven and hell is predetermined but I view religion through a metaphorical lense. How I see it is if I lead a good life and do good by those around me they'll view me in a positive light after I die so in their minds I'll be in some sort of heaven, and the opposite for some sort of hell of course.

@Koninos Eyes are deceptive. For example, is sunrise and sunset real. no,. small minded beings can't determine things out of their plain of perception. Even when we do determining Good & Evil is always distorted. Think of humans as a goldfish in a fish bowl. Thank you

2020-01-18 00:18:07 UTC

No

2020-01-18 00:19:35 UTC

@Deleted User If your response consists of “no” genuinely fuck off

2020-01-18 00:19:50 UTC

^

2020-01-18 00:22:05 UTC

I wasnt talking to you @Deleted User

2020-01-18 00:23:52 UTC

No is a valid response to randomness

2020-01-18 00:23:58 UTC

which is what salva spewed out.

2020-01-18 00:24:54 UTC

That's a genuine response to being too certain of your senses

2020-01-18 00:30:04 UTC

What does it mean to be too certain of your senses

2020-01-18 00:31:46 UTC

I'm with Rais

2020-01-18 00:32:23 UTC

That's some nonsense

2020-01-18 00:36:20 UTC

human beings can make out good from evil.

2020-01-18 00:36:24 UTC

It means that despite what you see we can only make inferences, therefore senses are not always a good judge.

2020-01-18 00:36:27 UTC

even from an abrahamic point of view

2020-01-18 00:36:30 UTC

No

2020-01-18 00:36:33 UTC

You cannot

2020-01-18 00:36:38 UTC

oh yeah

2020-01-18 00:36:44 UTC

Yeah

2020-01-18 00:36:44 UTC

adam and eve and all that right

2020-01-18 00:36:50 UTC

so why be certain of anything?

2020-01-18 00:37:03 UTC

That’s exactly what i’m saying

2020-01-18 00:37:07 UTC

if we cant even trust our own senses, why not assume this entire world i see and derive is just fairy tale

2020-01-18 00:37:12 UTC

its my own insane mind making things up?

2020-01-18 00:37:23 UTC

In life itself you cannot be certain of almost everything except logic and God.

2020-01-18 00:37:29 UTC

what..

2020-01-18 00:37:33 UTC

how can we be certain of logic

2020-01-18 00:37:35 UTC

without using our senses

2020-01-18 00:37:51 UTC

if i cant even trust whether i feel something hot or cold how can i trust "logic" or understand it

2020-01-18 00:38:47 UTC

Because these are metaphysics
