Give an example
In the sense of physics or just in general
In sense of physics
i will METAPHYSICALLY rape my wife
Talking about metaphysics with your wife she'd probably asked to be raped instead
Lets take Christopher Langan’s theory of CTMU. Materially you cannot prove the CTMU. But you can explain it through philosophy/physics.
So while not directly provable it can explain things.
Physics has never been a topic I've been particularly interested in
I’d love to get into Physics but i’m not good enough at math to make an understanding of it
Big brain stuff
I'm more of a history and culture sort of guy
Understandable
It’s important to center yourself on those topics
Personally however i see the pursuit of all knowledge to be a good pursuit
That’s mostly why i agree with state mandated colleges to ensure that everyone has the right to knowledge
You can access literally anything you could ever want to read about from your phone and there's no reason you shouldn't do that
There is nothing more important in the world than the fact of knowing. I can not fathom living an abysmal life of ignorance.
Which i do
Simple people seem happy
I attempt to educate myself as much as possible. Though i am mostly slacking due to poor time management
People make choices and dedicate their time to what's important to them
While being simple can lead to happiness the path of perpetual education/torment is something that tempers a man’s soul into virtue.
But can you guarantee when it's all over you'll have achieved the enlightenment your looking for
I cannot
But while i am alive i will attempt to achieve enlightenment. That is true virtue
I’ll live and die by the laws of God and the Universe
And while that may seem bleak, it achieves me and others peace.
Death is often scary to some. Overwhelming. But it is a part of life that is unavoidable. So i, a man of God, embrace it with open arms simply because God gave it to us.
I am no God. I accept that, and will never act as one. I am but a man living in a vast creation which i can never truly comprehend, and i accept it.
I share that sentiment but from a different perspective
Why do you reject God?
Why do you phrase it like I reject him?
Can I not simply be of a different belief then you?
In my perspective, yes. Then assuming that you reject Christianity, why do you do so?
I was never baptized and I never agreed with the faith itself
Is that a good enough answer?
I can elaborate more if you wish
I do wish
What more do you want to know?
Why do you not agree with the faith of Christ?
