I don't agree with a Supreme being lording his power over me if I don't do exactly as he says and at this point theres so many interprations of the Bible it seems as though nobody has an answer anyway
But as all things
It's subjective
You don't have the life experiences I do
Let me start by saying the King James Version is the most accurate English translation, as it is translated from the original greek New Testament.
It is natural for Christians to judge you, but if they dismiss you then they are at fault. Christians are meant to Judge righteous judgement of which God and Christ have given us. But any well mannered Christian would know that he must be empathetic for his fellow man, and accept him if he is willing. I’ll tell you, if you are willing to change then you are accepted. And Christ himself will accept you even if you do not change, for he forgives us of all our bearings. You may ask “Why do we judge men based upon these principles?”. The answer is that these principles have a purpose. Why do we think gays should be slaughtered? It is due to the fact that they infest and destroy morality of not just men and women, but children as well. Why do we shame upon pride? Because it leads to superiority complexes. Every single thing the Bible says has a purpose. It is not pure coincidence that Christ wants us to keep traditional beliefs. It is his will.
If you have the will to change, my friend. Then change for the better. If you want to learn more of the faith try reading of Orthodox Religion, and attempt going to an Orthodox Church once or twice.
Orthodox men are likely the most empathetic men you will ever meet. And while that may be based on bias, it is also based on Tradition.
Why is this important to you
I'm a complete stranger
Who has no bearing on your life
Who isn't looking to be saved
I have my gods and you have yours
Let's leave it at that
Because even if you are a stranger it is my moral obligation to spread the good news of Christ. @Doktor Goon Believe me or not, i am an empathetic person, and i only wish good faith upon you. And while neither you or i hold bearing on either of each others lives, it is what makes us human to spread truth, love, empathy, and all things virtuous.
So for the sake of being human, at the very least read about Orthodoxy despite me being unbeknownst to you.
This is also what I resent
We cant just talk about theology and stuff it's for some reason gotta be a ploy to get me to take the bath
I appreciate the kindness
But I respectfully decline
If it is meant in good faith is it a plot to convert, or simply me being a friend?
You're telling me to read orthodox literature when I've stated it's not for me
Why else would someone as Christian as you are start off a conversation with "why do you reject christ" when I simply said I'm of a different perspective
It isn't to get into my head and understand how I think
Because you're perspective is wrong and your way of worship is perverted
The last virtues of a dying society are tolerance and acceptance
^ a quote from a pagan
😂
Still a good quote
DUHHHH pagan cannot talk about society
Ok how about you go shoot yourself
uh huh..
Really feelin' the empathy
In my opinion pagans are the most idiotic people alive
I've literally never heard an argument for paganism besides "less Jew"
They directly ignore all philosophies all due to the belief of “Muh might is right”. Most pagans are just larpers anyways. I’ve never seen them actually commit to their beliefs.
Well everyone is different
In my experience it's been the opposite
90% of Christian's are lukewarm Christian's.
Doesn't matter what denomination
