In general
most catholics you'll meet online are crusades larpers
Concern is usually met with care, not anger
Zeal of converts
I've only gotten calmer over time
Most hateful Catholics become pagans
I met a Catholic who yelled I'm going to hell for being a prot
Like hmm
Great job at conversion
this is all concern
if he didn't care about what's going to happen to you he wouldn't yell
won't say that he's good at sounding concerned
but that was definitely it
I doubt it
Anger overshadows concern
10 fold
Proper course of action is disinterested friendship
Which means don't be selfish and do your best to help the person
do you think it's immoral to have friends that aren't of your denom?
Titus 3:10
I remember there was a verse
Let me find it
That's Santa punching Arius
i have the original piece of art if you want
though st nicholas probably wasn't even at the council of nicaea
For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it.
Ephesians 2:8-9
Can you explain this
This seems to imply predetermination
There is no entering heaven without the grace from God
But do we become saved by our own efforts
Or does God make us saved
the point of the verse is that you're not to feel pride for being in grace
it isn't an achievement
We become saved through faith and grace, you can however lose your salvation through mortal sin
only through God's mercy are you saved, not by what you did
Ah
Now, God made his promises to Abraham and to his descendant. The scripture does not use the plural “descendants,” meaning many people, but the singular “descendant,” meaning one person only, namely, Christ.
Galatians 3:16
Dosenr this refute the entire concept of Jews being chosen ones
