@21ooAB Agree
Saint Augustine was not destructively evil but sexually immoral, with several mistresses but overcame it to become one of the most well known saints to ever live
Yes
we are now in a position where we can not only afford to destroy evil but must destroy it
since evil is at an advantage
Evil can't be redeemed, evil is the objective opposite of good. All creation is good but is corrupted by evil though, therefore redemption is the optimal answer if you rephrase your question so it makes sense
redeeming evil is a virtue for when we are in times of great prosperity and morality
@OrthoGoat Lets say civilization collapsed
and a nationalist of your persuasion was helping us but did terrible things to do it
in that case no
but is it really evil if it ultimately ends evil?
@OrthoGoat Like, I dunno, after decades of fighting, a broken nationalist decides that the only solution is war crimes to end it
Firebombing of the last enclaves of undesirables
is it better to kill him
or stop him?
war crimes
like jewish UN definition?
@OrthoGoat Perhaps
cringe
but I guess a better way to say it, is doing things you would believe are absolutely evil to achieve victory
i think that in some cases, such as the situation we find ourselves in rn evil can be done to stop evil
Hitler wasent completely a christian
yet nazism was a response to the anti christian communists
that's a very silly hypothetical

<@&588707615643795456> Daily Question 🔖
**-** What is your view on predestination?
Don't have one because I'm not christian
Be a little more inclusive bro
@GlobalDelete Okay retard
ok bro
orb ko
I'm an atheist and I believe in it
i don't care
when you die you die
Predestined to the grave
Nothing you can do today to stop that at least
Maybe eventually idk
I think there is free will and some degree of destiny, but it's impossible to undo actions due to life not working like a video game or tape meaning you can't go back and take alternative decisions.
As such I don't think there is much merit in overthinking it.
Great movie
