Austria is going to be running the EU Commission soon
That will be interesting, what with Kurtz in power, and with populists on the rise possibly getting a majority in the EU Parliament
That tag team could completely change the EU
Hopefully it will
You can vote though XD
on the EU Parliament
That's the national governments' vote on legislation
Not the vote for the MEPs
@Deleted User No, it's very important, but it can be reversed easily if the populists have the Commission and the Parliament
domestic influence from large business

Hi y'all
@Zach Yo
Yep
NATO would completely fuck over BRICS
Brazil would instantly get smooshed by America, South Africa would be completely irrelevant, Russia would probably make some early gains in Europe but get fucked by the combined force of Western Europe and Turkey... India and China would be too far away from the other fronts to intervene, but once the other fronts were dealt with they'd probably get steamrolled by a couple D-Day style NATO invasions
@Orw33 I think it's fair to say that NATO won the Cold War against the Comintern without it resorting to MAD...
@Orw33 I knew the question referred to WW3, I was pointing out that nuclear weapons don't mean war between nuclear powers would instantly degenerate into MAD
@Orw33 WW3 couldn't be prevented by MAD any more than the Cold War was
Indeed that is a famous quote - what of it?
Well, I certainly wouldn't *advocate* for WW3, but once again I would point back the the Cold War as an example of a global war between nuclear powers that was undertaken as a rational series of strategic decisions
Indeed
As good a reason as any
The Prince by Machiavelli, it's an introduction to realist politics for those who don't know
An Open Letter to Open-Minded Progressives, it's a short blog style book that explains neo-reactionary thought, written by the NRx founder Curtis Yarvin
Y'all know what that economic test is called?
Thanks
What do y'all think of fourth positionism?
It's a political theory proposed by Aleksandr Dugin in collaboration with Alain De Benoist which aims to put forward an anti-liberal ideology that goes beyond liberalism, socialism, and fascism (the first, second, and third positions)
A political theory adapted for our post-liberal age
To boil it down to the absolute Kellogg's bare basics it is a communitarian ideology in both the economic and social sense, though of course it's much, much more than that
They have a website full of articles and related books, just type in 4pt
I'd recommend starting with their first two articles in the manifesto section
No problem
How do y'all reconcile nationalism and Christianity?
Vive le Quรฉbec libre
