It's an obsessive compulsive addiction, where the person has to view everything through a lens of sexuality. The person has trouble understanding intimate relationships and confuses all of them for a sexual relationship of one form or another. There are no clear defined borders for sub types of intimacy, only a gradient of sexual attraction.
