2019-01-11 11:49:53 UTC

nice one @Limmat

2019-01-11 11:50:06 UTC

fingers crossed for you too @Jim

2019-01-11 11:50:10 UTC

would have preferred an A but it was my first coursework and i wasn't really used to all the stuff we had to do

2019-01-11 11:50:25 UTC

thanks 😄

2019-01-11 11:50:40 UTC

But if you got an A you wouldnt have been given a stoned bee, that's far better a reward

2019-01-11 11:51:05 UTC

🤔

2019-01-11 11:51:12 UTC

*you got a high B after all*

2019-01-11 11:51:24 UTC

biggest thing with assignments is starting early. idk exactly how yours are but ye

2019-01-11 11:51:34 UTC

what do you mean by starting early?

2019-01-11 11:51:34 UTC

slow but steady

2019-01-11 11:51:42 UTC

dont smash it last minute

2019-01-11 11:51:47 UTC

never start early lol

2019-01-11 11:51:49 UTC

like with the iOS one we had to do design, research the market, try out our design prototypes on actual people

2019-01-11 11:51:49 UTC

forsenPrime SMASH?

2019-01-11 11:51:56 UTC

still get decent grades

2019-01-11 11:51:58 UTC

you wouldn't be able to do it if you started on the last week or something

2019-01-11 11:52:11 UTC

well, you would but you'd lose all those marks on planning

2019-01-11 11:52:14 UTC

oof

2019-01-11 11:52:25 UTC

@Limmat GG you

2019-01-11 11:52:27 UTC

cos it'd be obvious you didn't plan and a week isn't enough time to do that and implement it and do the testing afterwards

2019-01-11 11:53:04 UTC

yeah i started all my coursework reasonably early i probably left too much stuff till the end tho

2019-01-11 11:54:20 UTC

big projects i do start early but stuff thats doesnt need much work can wait

2019-01-11 11:54:31 UTC

I do it when i do it

2019-01-11 11:54:32 UTC

lost marks on testing for iOS cos a) i'm fucking lazy when it comes to testing, i guess it's like a sole-programmer thing. you just write the whole program and you know it works so you neglect unit tests n shit. also didn't understand fully how to do testing in swift. it's a bit different than other languages

2019-01-11 11:54:45 UTC

IOS gay tho

2019-01-11 11:54:50 UTC

why IOS

2019-01-11 11:54:52 UTC

everyone lose marks because of IOS

2019-01-11 11:54:55 UTC

why not android

2019-01-11 11:55:22 UTC

i chose iOS because i've never used it or swift before and wanted to learn something new

2019-01-11 11:55:25 UTC

😯

switch to android xdddddd

2019-01-11 11:55:51 UTC

bro

2019-01-11 11:55:52 UTC

android was developing in java, which i'm quite comfortable with so there's not as much learning there

2019-01-11 11:55:54 UTC

what is that fucking signal

2019-01-11 11:55:55 UTC
