Besides, Rey is by all definitions a mary sue because it has been explicitly said that she wasn't written with the intention of being a good character but to be a role model (power fantasy) to young girls.

@Questgiver you could say Luke is a bit Gary stuish, but Luke at least had flaws he needed to overcome. Rey has literally no weaknesses.
