i liked in the past early access but now they release a game before its finished and dont work to improve it
and AAA took notice
isnt that a bit authoritarian?
Players can easily loose interest in games if they do early access
"no u cant release until its finished"
some were good dont get me wrong but there are people that ruin games with good potential
no its just how the world works. either you can afford or convince a company/investor to back you or you dont put out a product.
i ment to the people that dont work on their games and keep it early access for a long while
Thank you Ayn Rand jr
its the old way the world worked
i think as long as people are aware what they are buying its all good, let the market decide
well hows it working for you now? buggy ass early releases that stay ea for a long time
if thats what we had today there would be nothing but fps games
Its the way it used to work. Early Access is just another form of crowd sourcing. Welcome to the 21st century.
cause companies wouldnt take risks
so fuck that crap
meh then dont complain about aaa publishers following suit to make marketing and shareholders happy
how is that even an argument
cause i made it one
lol
haha
I wish I could sleep
early access isnt as bad as pre-ordering games that later turn out to be worse than expected
i mean you dont have to agree with me
like your points are idiotic
to you maybe
again ruger you arent the end all of things
im a professional game developer... your a drug dealer
so my opinion is invalid as a consumer
gg
I mean, have you seen the state of WoW?
its easy to shrug me off since i used to sell narcotics?
no, its about how games are made and funded
```[10:29 AM] Baby Gravy: no its just how the world works. either you can afford or convince a company/investor to back you or you dont put out a product.```
in this case the customers *are* the backers lol. they convince customers to fund them via early access
Someone in the game industry would have a better understanding
ruger early access is useful like you said but some developers ruin it for the consumers when they just stop working on the game and keep it early access for a ridiculous long time
instead of investors
thats why i prefer finished games
yah and stay in beta for an eternity which AAA noticed
and realized they can just fix as they go
