2019-01-18 06:31:13 UTC

2019-01-18 06:31:45 UTC

i'm 20 don't worry

2019-01-18 06:31:48 UTC

which is a claim, not a neutral position

2019-01-18 06:31:59 UTC

Yeah, I am revising that after further reading

2019-01-18 06:32:00 UTC

i mean the channel has a whole

2019-01-18 06:32:10 UTC

It has a hole?

2019-01-18 06:32:15 UTC

god damn it

2019-01-18 06:32:26 UTC

I expect that to be the case but need to read more to fully make the claim

2019-01-18 06:32:41 UTC

You have a name like a 14 year WoW player. @BlazeofIce

2019-01-18 06:32:47 UTC

Plus "societal stability" is quite hard to define

2019-01-18 06:33:00 UTC

too lazy to change it, also eh

2019-01-18 06:33:07 UTC

2019-01-18 06:35:59 UTC

I am surprised Elsevier hasn't put a hit out on her

2019-01-18 06:36:43 UTC

hmm the study aint terribly conclusive

2019-01-18 06:36:54 UTC

Yeah, a lot of this data is weak

2019-01-18 06:38:34 UTC

however im p sure theres plenty of supporting evidence for raising a kid with 2 parents in a household, which is generally the result of marriage/cohabs so

2019-01-18 06:38:59 UTC

I have seen a lot of articles to support that, although I don't have any on hand

2019-01-18 06:39:14 UTC

I am fine taking JBP as a trusted source there

2019-01-18 06:39:35 UTC

JBP is a reasonable source

2019-01-18 06:40:05 UTC

He's good as long as he doesn't talk about religion

2019-01-18 06:40:13 UTC

depends on what you mean by source

2019-01-18 06:40:26 UTC

I trust him to tell the truth about papers he has read

2019-01-18 06:41:03 UTC

I read a study about this a while ago and their conclusion was that differences between the parents, like education and socio-economy background, contribute more to the probability of separation than being married vs *only* cohabiting. think it's generally accepted now that 2 parent households are better than single parent situations

2019-01-18 06:41:30 UTC

well JBPs general problem is when he is stating something in psychology he doesnt add a whole bunch of exceptions/etc. also attached to the initial statement
