respectable
A built-in patreon-esque service for YouTube sounds... actually genius.
"hert me feefees", fuck off with that shit
dont watch that video then
I'm wondering how that even works though
like the thing they have already
the join? feature
just expand on it
why do they listen to those people, but not others?
The advert association with certain videos
like anyone that thinks an ad is somehow intentionally connected to the video content in a web player should just be fucking hurled into the sun
@Questgiver aye he wrote the sandman series (not the spiderman sandman) its really good epic fantasy stuff
10/10
@zalfir people who take the time to send a letter are considered a wide range of people because they expect many more feel the same but refuse to put in the effort. The problem is that people who are generally content don't send letters of compliment, so the loudest, bitchiest groups take the most ground.
Yeah, I reckon there should be a test on computer knowledge before complaints can be issued just so "Mums against Markus" can't have a say in shit they don't understand
you could just have a category for adult content
big gae
and non adult
yea complaints follow the pareto principle, they only represent 20% of your user/viewer base
halve per agenda
dont know why pepsi cares about what ads play on, they sure didnt care about draining most of the ground water in india and causing people to die
or paying people shitty
or any of the 500 other fucked up things theyve done
the more agendas in play the smaller and shoutier the complaints
"but mah image in feefees"
the thing is you have people complain about ISIS videos and ads, and then they go after people who are completely unrelated to that
that's the impression i got
but in total its strangely always about 20%
get rid of ISIS videos then
the pareto principle is freaky spooky shit
applies to like fucking everything imaginable
the advertisers just want as many people as possible
oh fuck it's got a name
I didn't know it was called the pareto principle
zipf's law is another term
i remember seeing something akin to that in a movie from the 80s
Pareto vs zipf
i think it might have been Network
"I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore" that one
American Jamie vs American Jamie
Nah, zipf and pareto are different
