There are many well known differences based on race which was found in credible scientific research

since was most people would make of a report saying that africans are genetically less intelligent would be: he is african, so he in unitelligent.

It's still used in diagnoses by licensed psychiatrists/psychologists

IQ is correlated with important life outcomes beyond academic scores

like income, health (more intelligent people tend to be less obese), etc.

Even if our definition or conception of intelligence is inadequate that wouldn't even imply that IQ tests are not predictive of extremely important life outcomes
