In south american countries students regularly try to educate the poor in their freetime. Most people go to schools that cost money and the poor have no way of gaining more insight of what they can do for their country nor education in general. They need more organizations to help with this

Along with organizations that are willing to feed and clothe the poor. The more supporters you get for the people the better chances youll have of them charging with you to go against extremely corrupt governments. Look at paraguay for instance. They recently just burned down the congress building because they tried to pass a law most of the citizens didnt like.
