I’m interested to hear these solutions

2019-01-22 18:47:39 UTC

Well we’d need a specific problem first

2019-01-22 18:47:54 UTC

Well we can start with your problem with the EPA

2019-01-22 18:48:05 UTC

No I mean like environmental problems

2019-01-22 18:48:08 UTC

Lol, nice username, how come you changed it to that? @Colonel Sanders™

2019-01-22 18:48:40 UTC

People kept confusing better dead than red (communist) with red conservative

2019-01-22 18:49:40 UTC

I don’t know wahx I’m not an environmental expert but when it comes to the government robbing companies of the opportunity to conduct business because they damage some forest or something I think it’s idiotic

2019-01-22 18:50:09 UTC

There’s certain environmental problems that are insanely serious but others that are enforced are just stupid

2019-01-22 18:50:49 UTC

Like CO2 emissions is incredibly dumb to enforce considering there’s insufficient data to support its effect on the planet

2019-01-22 18:50:59 UTC

But things like the plastic in the pacific

2019-01-22 18:51:56 UTC

I don’t know I’m probably just an idiot

2019-01-22 18:52:30 UTC

I work with climate research professors, and they have different things to say about CO2, especially in how it’s affecting our oceans

2019-01-22 18:52:50 UTC

But I think a larger point is how much should we care about the environment? That’s what you’re saying, basically

2019-01-22 18:53:17 UTC

And I would rather have human growth than a single forest, but I’m worried about long term trends and their affect on our planet

2019-01-22 18:53:45 UTC

Because, most seriously, we are going to get millions of immigrants if the equator gets hotter

2019-01-22 18:53:59 UTC

Then there actually will be a humanitarian crisis at the southern border lol

2019-01-22 18:54:17 UTC

But this is a larger tangent about climate change that we don’t have to get into

2019-01-22 18:54:43 UTC

I think if you think the EPA is doing stupid things you should advocate for better regulations on what they can do

2019-01-22 18:54:59 UTC

But they do important work, like you said, parallel to stuff you might find trivial

2019-01-22 18:57:28 UTC

Yea like we said though cuts not abolishment.

2019-01-22 18:57:48 UTC

I have to go right now

2019-01-22 18:57:59 UTC

but it was epic conversation 😎

2019-01-22 19:02:08 UTC

Yeah dude good talk! Sorry you’re right, cuts not abolishment, I feel that

2019-01-22 23:00:36 UTC

What’s your opinion on a carbon tax, given that you can use the revenue for things like reducing other taxes? (For no net change in budget)

2019-01-22 23:36:15 UTC
2019-01-22 23:36:21 UTC

Tax everything at 500%

2019-01-22 23:36:28 UTC

America repays its debt.

2019-01-23 00:16:14 UTC

🤔

2019-01-23 01:03:30 UTC

xd I was kidding

2019-01-23 01:03:32 UTC
2019-01-23 01:08:06 UTC

so I have a question for everyone that is very open for discussion. Do you guys think Mitch Mcconell should use the nuclear option in the senate to pass the bill for wall funding/ending the shutdown if the bills on Thursday both get rejected?

2019-01-23 01:10:43 UTC

@Kylo Ren I do not agree that nuclear bombs should even exist.

2019-01-23 01:10:48 UTC

...

2019-01-23 01:10:55 UTC

I know they DO exist.

2019-01-23 01:10:58 UTC

I just dont support it.

2019-01-23 01:11:01 UTC

I'm talking about the nuclear option in the senate

2019-01-23 01:11:08 UTC

Oh.

2019-01-23 01:11:10 UTC

No.

2019-01-23 01:11:15 UTC

Only the president shouldd.

2019-01-23 01:11:16 UTC

meaning bills brought to the senate are voted by pure majority
