2019-02-17 00:56:21 UTC

Hey I’m doubting your Nevada and Virginia Republican prediction

2019-02-17 00:59:04 UTC

that's a best case scenario

2019-02-17 00:59:06 UTC

check the top one

2019-02-17 00:59:08 UTC

I'd be AMAZED if Virginia goes red

2019-02-17 00:59:22 UTC

it wasn't that far in 2016

2019-02-17 00:59:26 UTC

1.9m to 1.7m

2019-02-17 00:59:47 UTC

I honestly believe bernie lost the election for clinton

2019-02-17 00:59:51 UTC

pushing her left

2019-02-17 01:00:05 UTC

pointing out her flaws to the extreme

2019-02-17 01:00:07 UTC

@Leo (BillNyeLand) check the top one

2019-02-17 01:00:29 UTC

guys

2019-02-17 01:00:33 UTC

send me a 2020 scenario

2019-02-17 01:00:33 UTC

Ok

2019-02-17 01:00:38 UTC

i'll send my prediction

2019-02-17 01:00:44 UTC

Still, VA is a state that’s trending left pretty fast

2019-02-17 01:00:51 UTC

PA and stuff are trending right at the same time

2019-02-17 01:01:00 UTC

Oh wait

2019-02-17 01:01:02 UTC

that's bad for dems tbh

2019-02-17 01:01:09 UTC

I have some predicted using a computer program

2019-02-17 01:01:11 UTC

cause virginia is gonna be blue mostly

2019-02-17 01:01:17 UTC

but PA is a swing state

2019-02-17 01:01:29 UTC

send me a 2020 scenario

2019-02-17 01:01:44 UTC

trump vs

2019-02-17 01:02:25 UTC

Oh yeah, one of the reasons Dems have been winning the popular vote but losing the electoral college is, at least based on my research, that states that are trending left are generally solid one way or another (like Texas or New Mexico) while the states that are trending right are or used to be swing states (like Pennsylvania and Iowa)

2019-02-17 01:02:41 UTC

ya i agree with u 100%

2019-02-17 01:02:57 UTC

It’s just one of the peculiarities of the electoral college

2019-02-17 01:03:06 UTC

ok visitor

2019-02-17 01:03:09 UTC

trump vs who

2019-02-17 01:03:14 UTC

i'll do one rn

2019-02-17 01:03:17 UTC

Ok so

2019-02-17 01:04:07 UTC

The program I wrote only predicts state results vs the national popular vote, so I have to give it a projected popular vote for it to describe the state-by-state results

2019-02-17 01:04:18 UTC

nice

2019-02-17 01:04:28 UTC

In that case, it’s more like [Trump vs generic democrat]

2019-02-17 01:04:33 UTC

ya

2019-02-17 01:04:35 UTC

give me a dem

2019-02-17 01:04:47 UTC
