Sure but the fit won't be as good or it will be too small.

Did you give them your optic @All UCP Everything?
You are like the definition of a dude who reads too much on the internet and has no experience
Optics aren’t hand made artisan products, they’re mass manufactured
There’s going to be so little difference in dimensions that it won’t matter at all
Do they measure each specific aimpoint T2 and fit it to the exact fucking scalarworks mount you use?
>he didn’t pay extra dor the handfitted t2 from scalar
I’ve swapped between several rmrs and they all fit nice and tight in my milled gun

Feels bad being a poorfag
Is a solution like a unity atom 2.0 or an agency AOS better? Sure but you’re gonna pay for it.
MOS is pure cope unless you’re trying to mass issue it out and you just want to have an easy contract vehicle
I love how you’re so fucking bothered about a guy milling something to your exact fucking optic when you’re just planning on grabbing an MOS and slapping a plate on there
You think that plate is going to be precision milled?
How ever is it going to fit your specific optic
Oh no
@5W all I have right now is the internet, idk where you expect me to have experience from.
Common sense broheim
No I don't expect the MOS plates to be precision milled. But a milled slide could be too small for another optic. I've only read about places that hand fit them, sorry I haven't heard about places that don't. I thought it just wasn't done that way. Industries do things certain ways for no fucking reason all the time so I wasn't surprised.
Places will have you send in your optic so they can ensure they are cutting for the right optic
Otherwise some retard like you would buy a swampfox red dot and call it an RMR and then get mad when you ordered to have your slide milled for your “rmr” and it comes back and doesn’t fit
If you have a 2 second conversation with the company they will say you don’t have to send it in
Also what happens to your “super precise tolerances” when you coat the firearm afterwards
Assuming you’re not planning on just leaving bare metal
Won't they coat it for me?
I mean, if I send it to a place that does that and I buy that service?
They’ll do it or they’ll send it to someone else that will do it
What makes the MOS so bad that it's worth paying this much?
It’s $175
MOS is $70, works with tons of optics, and doesn't require coating or even sending your slide out.
That's more than double, so it better be worth it.
A gen 4 is like 450 or less. There’s hardly a price difference and the only disadvantage is the ability to change optics
Especially if you’re getting an aftermarket plate for another 60 bucks
Do most optics worth considering use the RMR/Holosun cut?
And if you get RMR cut, you’re compatible with several holosun and SRO also
The only other ones are the deltapoint, acro, or the closed emitter holosun which I think has its own footprint
The others aren’t worth considering
Gotcha. I'm almost definitely going with holosun because of price but I'll look at the others.
So are the main advantages durability and height over bore?
