Did you give them your optic @All UCP Everything?

2020-03-20 12:52:02 UTC

You are like the definition of a dude who reads too much on the internet and has no experience

2020-03-20 12:52:12 UTC

Optics aren’t hand made artisan products, they’re mass manufactured

2020-03-20 12:52:53 UTC

There’s going to be so little difference in dimensions that it won’t matter at all

2020-03-20 12:53:02 UTC

Do they measure each specific aimpoint T2 and fit it to the exact fucking scalarworks mount you use?

2020-03-20 12:54:18 UTC

>he didn’t pay extra dor the handfitted t2 from scalar

2020-03-20 12:54:20 UTC

I’ve swapped between several rmrs and they all fit nice and tight in my milled gun

2020-03-20 12:54:33 UTC

Feels bad being a poorfag

2020-03-20 12:55:20 UTC

Is a solution like a unity atom 2.0 or an agency AOS better? Sure but you’re gonna pay for it.

2020-03-20 12:56:02 UTC

MOS is pure cope unless you’re trying to mass issue it out and you just want to have an easy contract vehicle

2020-03-20 12:56:45 UTC

I love how you’re so fucking bothered about a guy milling something to your exact fucking optic when you’re just planning on grabbing an MOS and slapping a plate on there

2020-03-20 12:56:57 UTC

You think that plate is going to be precision milled?

2020-03-20 12:57:10 UTC

How ever is it going to fit your specific optic

2020-03-20 12:57:14 UTC

Oh no

2020-03-20 12:57:15 UTC

@5W all I have right now is the internet, idk where you expect me to have experience from.

2020-03-20 12:58:12 UTC

Common sense broheim

2020-03-20 12:58:55 UTC

No I don't expect the MOS plates to be precision milled. But a milled slide could be too small for another optic. I've only read about places that hand fit them, sorry I haven't heard about places that don't. I thought it just wasn't done that way. Industries do things certain ways for no fucking reason all the time so I wasn't surprised.

2020-03-20 13:03:18 UTC

You listened to what a dipshit boomer said on a gun forum

2020-03-20 13:03:38 UTC

Places will have you send in your optic so they can ensure they are cutting for the right optic

2020-03-20 13:04:47 UTC

Otherwise some retard like you would buy a swampfox red dot and call it an RMR and then get mad when you ordered to have your slide milled for your “rmr” and it comes back and doesn’t fit

2020-03-20 13:05:06 UTC

If you have a 2 second conversation with the company they will say you don’t have to send it in

2020-03-20 13:06:50 UTC

Also what happens to your “super precise tolerances” when you coat the firearm afterwards

2020-03-20 13:07:17 UTC

Assuming you’re not planning on just leaving bare metal

2020-03-20 13:12:45 UTC

Won't they coat it for me?

2020-03-20 13:13:08 UTC

I mean, if I send it to a place that does that and I buy that service?

2020-03-20 13:14:43 UTC

They’ll do it or they’ll send it to someone else that will do it

2020-03-20 13:15:06 UTC

What makes the MOS so bad that it's worth paying this much?

2020-03-20 13:16:11 UTC

It’s $175

2020-03-20 13:17:32 UTC

MOS is $70, works with tons of optics, and doesn't require coating or even sending your slide out.

2020-03-20 13:17:50 UTC

That's more than double, so it better be worth it.

2020-03-20 13:17:51 UTC

A gen 4 is like 450 or less. There’s hardly a price difference and the only disadvantage is the ability to change optics

2020-03-20 13:20:01 UTC

Especially if you’re getting an aftermarket plate for another 60 bucks

2020-03-20 13:20:26 UTC

Do most optics worth considering use the RMR/Holosun cut?

2020-03-20 13:20:45 UTC

And if you get RMR cut, you’re compatible with several holosun and SRO also

2020-03-20 13:21:58 UTC

The only other ones are the deltapoint, acro, or the closed emitter holosun which I think has its own footprint

2020-03-20 13:22:25 UTC

The others aren’t worth considering

2020-03-20 13:22:57 UTC

Gotcha. I'm almost definitely going with holosun because of price but I'll look at the others.

2020-03-20 13:32:15 UTC

So are the main advantages durability and height over bore?

2020-03-20 13:43:55 UTC

Overall fit with the MOS plates are also a complaint

2020-03-20 13:54:34 UTC

Damn this nigga got me trippin
