I would do a P80, but I want something that has a higher guarantee of reliability. I know P80s are fine but this will be my one gun that has to work, since it will be my CCW. I won't fuck with it either, all the critical parts are staying stock. My AR is pretty damn reliable so at this point it doesn't worry me too much but I figured I should have one weapon that was built and checked by people who do it for a living. You don't understand what "fitted to the optic" means then. They measure your specific optic and cut your slide to its tolerances. The fit is nearly perfect. It won't work with other optics.

No I don't expect the MOS plates to be precision milled. But a milled slide could be too small for another optic. I've only read about places that hand fit them, sorry I haven't heard about places that don't. I thought it just wasn't done that way. Industries do things certain ways for no fucking reason all the time so I wasn't surprised.
