And focus on other indexes like overall health, quality of life, happiness etc

Because as automation takes more and more jobs GPD will grow, but it doesn’t mention all the people who are screwed because of it

GDP has always been screwed

A ton of jobs will be replaced by a small amount of high skilled tech jobs

Despite what people say, it’s most accurate use is in a primitive economy

But yeah other factors is a good point

However automation *creates* jobs

I see a problem with UBI though

it's definitely a bad approach, especailly to a non existant problem like inequality.

Only two ways you can finance this, taxing the rich or printing money

Printing money will have severe consequences

The former is also not good

I think it will be possible for UBI to be implemented without causing government spending to sky-rocket
