Seems different than others.
Oh
He wants a universal basic income
Which is a pretty big change

I think Yang should be running in about 8 years when job loss from manufacturing gets worse
manufacturing?
I mean the whole job loss from that sector can be made much better
just by deregulating and lowering the cost of labour
but evenetually some jobs will be gone, but be replaced by MORE jobs.
This is how the market re-allocates jobs.
It's better for everyone.
but why are we talking about a loss of manufacturing jobs in this decade?
The the question is if automation will take more jobs than create
it's been growing in the US
it's been growing under Trump, under Obama it declined
Anon it will
it has anyways.
The whole automation problem can be made less worse if it were a free market
Higher costs of labour
etc
And generally higher costs
A Universal basic income will deal with this actually
UBI would mean there would be no minimum wage
I mean no it'll just take off money from other people
making the problem worse
and subsidise inefficent activites
like being unemployed
But businesses will grow as labor costs will go down
Taxing people higher doesn't help
it'll just increase the shift to automation
But it can be achieved without insane taxes since welfare would be elimated
Oh you're planning on welfare to be eliminated
I see
Yea
Still a problem, it would subsidise ineffective and unproductive activities
But still have to be taxed higher.
MEOW
No
