If you think Trump was going to become President and be able to easily get anything he wanted done is clueless about how our government works or the political landscape
How is it that we only get 5% of our oil from OPEC, but yet when they shut down one refinery or something, it effects the entire us gas market?
They would rather see him bring the country to collapse than concede to the pressure of the liberal establishment
Some yes, some no
it is not cluelessness but absolutism that would have some supporters leave him
Ann Coulter for example, one of the retards who would keep the gov shut down indefinitely since she has no sympathy for the 800,000 people who weren't getting paid
I'm another one of those retards
Maybe retard is a wrong word since Ann Coulter is smart enough to know that dems won't cave in
Trying to think of new word brb
let it burn if it is too corrupt to put good security measures in place
Let what burn
I would really rather see the US government collapse right now, rather than see the status quo continue indefinitely
Lol
I am fine with the shutdown
Ah so you're an authoritarian
I am a pragmatist
but the extreme population density and technological advances of our time have made libertarianism obsolete
You're willing to see the destruction of America in order for a wall
....
they've made democracy obsolete as well
I said I'd see the collapse of the American government
And what replaces it? lol
that is far from being the same thing as America
The American government won’t collapse
I hope not
But it’s the fact that we have a swamp in dc
Nothing will get done
Explain
What do you guys mean by swamp
It goes so far beyond DC my friend
It is old and entrenched and widespread as you can imagine
Politicians are lying and millennials are believing it
people who disagree with you? (aka liberals) or how campaign finance and corporate lobbying has corrupted a large portion of our congress and government?
How the fuck does AOC get in office with her ideas
People agree with her
She’s more of a socialist than people in Venezuela
no she's actually not
That’s the problem
Economically they are similar socially they are completely different
People don’t want to work, and they want others to fund their benefits
