Shooting yourself is the easiest way to go

2019-02-25 23:43:12 UTC

Well how strict we talking on control, removing or regulating

2019-02-25 23:43:15 UTC

And the more painless

2019-02-25 23:43:23 UTC

it really depends on how desperate you are tbh

2019-02-25 23:44:32 UTC

if you are desperate enough pain wont matter

2019-02-25 23:44:42 UTC

If you want to you know, abolish the 2nd amendment lmao - yeah sure it would lower. It's a shitty cost to pay but sure it would do at least "something"

2019-02-25 23:45:41 UTC

Regulating wouldn't change much, even nowadays it's still relatively difficult to get a gun and there's other painless ways. It's not worth regulating for everybody just for the chance some guys will change their minds

2019-02-25 23:46:42 UTC

Guys who are suicidal aren't bound by the law, regulating guns or even removing them just for suicidal reasons is out of the question - not effective. It'd be more of a chance

2019-02-25 23:47:17 UTC

But states with the most gun control have lower suicide rates

2019-02-25 23:47:20 UTC

hmmmmmm

2019-02-25 23:48:04 UTC

I'll have to see that myself, I can't take your word for it. But what I can tell you is it's definitely not fuckin worth it I'll give you that much

2019-02-25 23:48:34 UTC

*Firearm suicide rate

2019-02-25 23:48:41 UTC

Or overall suicide rate

2019-02-25 23:48:45 UTC

I'll have to look again

California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts have low suicide rates

2019-02-25 23:51:19 UTC

And a lot of gun control

2019-02-25 23:52:09 UTC

2019-02-25 23:53:17 UTC

2019-02-25 23:53:32 UTC

Notice how the 10 states with the lowest numbers are all blue

2019-02-25 23:54:35 UTC

@andrew Here it is

2019-02-25 23:54:57 UTC

The higher the grade, the higher the gun control

2019-02-25 23:55:05 UTC

georgia and texas tho

2019-02-25 23:55:07 UTC

low suicides

2019-02-25 23:56:15 UTC

thats an interesting maptho havent seen anything like that

2019-02-25 23:56:43 UTC

Georgia is sort of low

2019-02-25 23:56:47 UTC

and the one next to georgia

2019-02-25 23:56:47 UTC

Not as low as other states

2019-02-25 23:57:04 UTC

georgia has some of the best gun laws tho

2019-02-25 23:57:22 UTC

well

2019-02-25 23:57:27 UTC

least gun control i should say

2019-02-25 23:57:47 UTC

its #6 on the list of gun friendly states

2019-02-25 23:58:51 UTC

But still, it isn't that white on the map

2019-02-26 00:00:04 UTC

you do have a point tho

2019-02-26 00:03:32 UTC

Seems like a valid point, although regulation is going to affect all the people in the state not just those who might or may not be suicidal. Which is a relatively low amount, it may be an upside of gun regulation but far from a good enough reason to regulate the whole state.

2019-02-26 00:04:37 UTC

I'm sure you liberals have other reasons up your sleeves, if so let's see it. But try to do it in <#418667927169138688>, alongside with anyone else looking to argue

2019-02-26 00:04:38 UTC

If you aren't suicidal, you should be able to purchase a gun legally.

2019-02-26 00:06:41 UTC

anon how do we fix this then?
