Do you get specialized left-handed things?

I have lefty scissors and that's about it lol

I pretty much had to teach myself cause like I said, my teachers kept trying to teach me right handed

Although I suppose we would have different curriculums.

I know, it just amuses me that my teachers never figured out I was doing my homework 'my way' and my school work the way they were trying to teach me

I wanted to go into baseball. My stepdad put me in the age group above though cause he wanted to coach

Hated it cause all the other girls were way beyond my skill level

Finally got a teacher that realized 'hey, her work is neater if she writes left-handed' and let me write lefty the next year. (Special education was so much fun *sarcasm implied*)

I don't understand why they wouldn't just let you write with your left though. Like I get that left handed isn't common but it's not like it's unheard of
