So it made a massive one

2020-02-05 21:12:37 UTC

i have arrive

2020-02-05 21:12:40 UTC

This was their plan all along to bring down the treechiarchy.

2020-02-05 21:12:50 UTC

Lol

2020-02-05 21:12:54 UTC

Ugh, it’s like common sense has flown in favour of stupidity

2020-02-05 21:13:07 UTC

Oh I hiked through a lot of the area where the wildfire hit too

2020-02-05 21:13:22 UTC

I got a much bigger sense of the scope this last summer after hiking around a mountain

2020-02-05 21:13:29 UTC

It is convenient that now there is a hell of a lot of land cleared though huh

2020-02-05 21:13:29 UTC

Getting sick from the heat lol

2020-02-05 21:14:06 UTC

😔 2020 is really a hell for me

2020-02-05 21:14:24 UTC

And my family...

2020-02-05 21:14:46 UTC

Soo peeps... playing dragon age origins... sword and shield warrior or great sword two handed? 😉

2020-02-05 21:15:00 UTC

There was a lot of outrage over the eagle creek fire we had a couple years ago but like

2020-02-05 21:15:08 UTC

Honestly the damage isnt as bad as it was made out to be, it was handled really well

2020-02-05 21:15:30 UTC

@Immortality Hold up, I'll ask my ex.

2020-02-05 21:15:33 UTC

Jkjk lol

2020-02-05 21:15:37 UTC

A lot of it did get scorched but it was a healthy scorching. It hit patches instead of just burning through a whole section of forest

2020-02-05 21:16:34 UTC

Exactly, that’s the point of controlled deforestation, ideally, that’s how we should do all our lumber industry

2020-02-05 21:16:55 UTC

Cause at the same time we’re actually helping the environment...

2020-02-05 21:17:08 UTC

Yeah

2020-02-05 21:17:14 UTC

People were mostly upset because it was started by a kid with a firework

2020-02-05 21:17:25 UTC

But bigger fires were started in the same year and year after that got much more big

2020-02-05 21:17:37 UTC

It was mostly publicized so much because it was near Portland and the gorge is very well visited

2020-02-05 21:17:45 UTC

My province is huge on the forestry and fishing industries.

2020-02-05 21:17:52 UTC

Yeah same here

2020-02-05 21:18:16 UTC

I think Oregon is one of the biggest suppliers of lumber in the country

2020-02-05 21:18:19 UTC

I cut trees down quite often myself haha

2020-02-05 21:18:26 UTC

And we're still doing a better job of maintaining our forests on top of it

2020-02-05 21:18:43 UTC

Oh yeah, we're the top for lumber production lol

2020-02-05 21:19:04 UTC

Fucking Greg and his wetlands 😂

2020-02-05 21:19:24 UTC

ooo

2020-02-05 21:19:30 UTC

My family is thinking about if we get like

2020-02-05 21:19:33 UTC

5-10 acres

2020-02-05 21:19:47 UTC

We'll dedicate like 20% of our land into being terraformed

2020-02-05 21:19:57 UTC

I actually have a lot of land lol

2020-02-05 21:20:04 UTC

There's a lot of natural wetlands here that have been pretty much just built on top of it

2020-02-05 21:20:07 UTC

And can be revived

2020-02-05 21:20:20 UTC

Yeah, that’d be nice

2020-02-05 21:20:40 UTC

We're pretty sure licensing it won't be a huge problem considering they're starting operations all over the state to restore wetlands right now

2020-02-05 21:20:47 UTC

And one of the biggest stumbling block is land claims for it

2020-02-05 21:21:12 UTC

Plus, since we're starting a bird rescue, it gives a least some of them a place to go to when we release
