When I was in the army we use to take suppressors off of our rifles and play bowling with them as the pins and rolled up bunches of socks as the bowling balls

We got bored a lot in Afghanistan

Generally suppressors are still loud if the round goes supersonic. Quiet enough to not need ears is about as good as it gets
