Idk if it's the intention for the song but I feel the kiddo is forcing a bit of the vibrato by way of choppy quick exhales. It doesn't sound bad, it's just something I'm not used to hearing.

However his tone is forking on point like holy crap. Velvet for the earholes. That kid is going places.

@Walnut i see what you mean by the vibrato, though I more than likely would chalk that up to being a soprano and a 13 year old male. His voice is going to change over the next 10 years and may become a tenor/alto. Vibrato is a difficult vocal effect to properly control at that age.

Most certainly. I know a lot of people who are fully grown and still have no control of it.

I have about 90% control of mine

Gets a little out of my hands at the end of a phrase or breath

I practice everyday in the shower and bathroom. I've found that those are the best places for resonance and not going to full power with your voice

Thus you are able to condition for better control at softer points in more complex arrangements.

I dont know of any vocalist who actually doesnt

I don't sing in the shower because of the resonance. Often times it muddies up the individual notes and it's easy to slip off pitch slightly
