There are several ways to shut down the app
When you want to completely exit the discord app you can look in your system tray lower right hand corner of your display

I am running Windows 7 as ell

Click that symbol to see what is running. Right click the discord icon then select "quit discord"

Are you receiving a bunch of annoying alerts?

Don't know how to get out

You "opted-out" too soon so go back into the <#430892996716920852> and deselect that item. That way you can reach Level 1 where you can go on air

After you reach Level 1 you can opt back into the Opt-Out option. Boy that is a lot of opting isn't it?
