1. Everyone must go through the FDA to make drugs or devices
2. The FDA only allows through .01% of devices, but charge the same amount no matter if they pass or fail you
3. It takes five years to get through so most companies submit many different devices or drugs simultaneously knowing they'll take half a decade and still get rejected most of the time
4. The devices that pass fda approval aren't safe either, the FDA just assesses the idea and there is absolutely no guarantee that the mass produced tongue depressors from china aren't coated with lead
hmm...
5. So in the end, every medical device becomes ridiculously expensive, get produced slower, and all the while the result is a set of products that are no safer than noraml
(((FDA)))
6. This is perpetuated because medical device companies get unlimited free money no matter what because of obamacare and socialized insurance

7. Healthcare is like 25% of US GDP

Interesting...
so basically the FDA is the biggest way that the (((system))) perpetuates its control
because "you wouldn't want UNREGULATED HEALTHCARE, would you?"
they keep it going forever
and collect hilarious amounts of money for no reason
Thanks for sharing that, I never knew how fucked things were when it came to the medicine question
well that's just medical research
actual medicine at hospitals is different
Yeah, but when it comes to inventing new cures for shit and stuff
with the whole "hello my name is Pablo Sanche- I MEAN, my name is George Wallace, please give me free healthcare"
I suppose with this knowledge, those memes saying "They already know the cure for cancer but are holding it back to cull the population" is less funny and more deebly goncerning
@Accipiter the cure for cancer is killing the cells
everyone knows how to cure cancer
you kill the tumor
it's just a question of ways to kill the cancer
>Oy vey, we'll fight cancer and find the way to cure it for good, gib moneys pl0x
for instance there are TONS of ways of getting poisons to cancer cells reliably
lel, Cosmetic prices goes down meanwhile real medicines are fucked.
but they're still in FDA approval stage after like 10 years
Oh gawd!
I know of like 25 labs right now that are doing cancer research
and finding ways of delivering poisons to cancer cells
Gotta make sure that it's safe, sure it may take a decade but better safe than sorry right goy? OOoh sorry, champ... We denied it, better luck next time
and they submit to FDA and then find another and submit and do it over and over
because they're all going to be rejected
.01%
@Accipiter and like I said, it's still not enough
their "regulation" assumes good manufacturing practices which is never the case because half of the things we make are assembled in a good place, but the pieces are from china
plastics that leach, aluminum with lead in it, bolts that were not annealed so they're brittle
