Even in Nazi Germany the majority of the populace didn't know the extent of the atrocities. But most people dint know that and can't draw a clear parallel between that same attitude happening today, because they look back and see the deaths and see nothing now. They won't analyse the policy similarities before dismissing it

2019-01-01 12:13:24 UTC

No, they didn't

2019-01-01 12:13:35 UTC

And even if they did, what's one person against that?

2019-01-01 12:14:04 UTC

Communism was similar.

2019-01-01 12:15:42 UTC

exactly, i think its a comparison best avoided. the facts, quotes and laws they supported are enough. the MRM is well backed by data

2019-01-01 12:15:51 UTC

communism is probably better than feminism

2019-01-01 12:16:14 UTC

**or nazism**

2019-01-01 12:16:28 UTC

Well, the Maoists actually ate people

2019-01-01 12:16:32 UTC

Like, literally

2019-01-01 12:16:40 UTC

But feminism is pretty shitty

2019-01-01 12:17:02 UTC

i mean

2019-01-01 12:17:11 UTC

communism in china now is pretty alright

2019-01-01 12:17:42 UTC

i think its actually one of the leading reason why china is more advanced than alot of countries in areas like tech

2019-01-01 12:17:52 UTC

chinas rather oppressive right now, and i think feminism is strongly linked to marxism\

2019-01-01 12:18:09 UTC

but at least china is anti SJW

2019-01-01 12:20:28 UTC

You can still get arrested for mentioning a certain massacre in a certain square in Tiananmen

2019-01-01 12:21:10 UTC

And it is very authoritarian, at least based on what I have seen and compared to the West

2019-01-01 12:30:52 UTC

being arrested for "hate speech" is creeping in the west though, and "hate speech" seems to mean anything against the intersectional narrative. in the UK at least. slowly but surely, creeping fascism

2019-01-01 12:43:42 UTC

@Men Are Human i mean i dont think anyone would want to mention it its quite a shit thing to do ah

2019-01-01 12:53:53 UTC

@QinGuan2004 I realise I've made this awkward, and I don't want to get you in trouble, but you have to realise that if that kind of thing happened over here people would be allowed to talk about it. They'd be allowed to scorn the fact that unarmed protestors were mowed down by the army. And it would be commemorated.

2019-01-01 12:54:18 UTC

i guess its more of a cultural thing?

2019-01-01 12:54:56 UTC

I don't personally think anyone should have that kind of culture forced onto them.

2019-01-01 12:55:16 UTC

dont think its forced lol

2019-01-01 12:55:26 UTC

They arrest people for talking about it.

2019-01-01 12:55:27 UTC

just probably a sign of respect

2019-01-01 12:55:50 UTC

tbh

2019-01-01 12:55:56 UTC

i think its pretty fine there

2019-01-01 12:56:00 UTC

imo

2019-01-01 12:56:29 UTC

It's not really a sign of respect.

2019-01-01 12:56:52 UTC

It's more a complete government veto on anyone talking about it.

2019-01-01 12:57:22 UTC

I'm sorry if this is upsetting at all.

2019-01-01 12:57:28 UTC

but i think the difference is the general population is pretty fine with it

2019-01-01 12:57:59 UTC

With the government massacring their peaceful demonstration, then refusing to let anyone talk about it?

2019-01-01 12:58:13 UTC

i mean living in china i havent really seen anyone complain or do anything over that

2019-01-01 12:58:21 UTC

Do they know about it?

2019-01-01 12:58:40 UTC

They aren't allowed to really talk about it, and it has never been in their newspapers

2019-01-01 12:58:47 UTC

Websites get blocked if they mention it

2019-01-01 12:59:03 UTC

ah im not sure about that then

2019-01-01 12:59:09 UTC

but as far as i can see in china now

2019-01-01 12:59:18 UTC

its definitely better than what the states look
